DESIGN is our work and our lives. We are architects. We are interior designers. We are furniture designers. We are graphic designers. We are thinkers. We have the good fortune of being exposed to, and enjoying, a myriad of interesting art, furniture, interior design and architecture through our work. Our work is an extension of our lives. For pleasure we look at architecture, we get excited about interesting art, we shop for furniture and we travel to see new and unique places. From this we have derived the sincere belief there is great beauty and pleasure to be enjoyed in even the simplest objects in life; opportunities to enjoy such beauty should not be missed. We hope our design process, our projects, products and our passion inspire you to seek these simple pleasures. We believe architecture is art you live within, and in such, occupies a unique niche in the art world, as its success relies not only on its aesthetic merits, but greatly from its function. Meeting the challenge of satisfying the dual masters of form and function is not always easy. Finding innovative ways to succeed in both is the pleasure we take in our work. We also sincerely believe great architecture and design is not a function of great expense, but rather a function of great thinking. We believe some of our best work comes from the beauty of its inherent modesty. Proudly our designs are rooted specifically in each project’s unique set of circumstances. The common thread is the quality of our thought and our care for the details, rather than a common aesthetic. The pleasure for us is designing specific to site environs; functional, physical, aesthetic and social. It is our mission to see our clients’ unique thoughts, ideas and ambitions translated into not mere buildings, but into the poetic language of architecture. Our work includes a wide variety of project types, including residential and commercial projects both large and small, through which we have become experienced and confident design team leaders and construction managers. We seek to do projects we think are interesting, and clients who are enthusiastic.
